When any of us make the decision to start gardening naturally, all of the earth's inhabitants are richly rewarded.   The cycle of life is dependent on the flora of our planet.  So the simple act of cultivating plants in our yards gives back where industry takes away as more and more land is cleared to make way for increasing population demands.  Taking it one step further, choosing to grow as naturally as you possibly can, and the planet is then enhanced by your creation of friendly environment for the fauna that is another key part of the the cycle of life.  Choose to use chemicals and synthetics and you are contributing to the decline of the ecological stability of the very environment that you are seeking to foster when you make the decision to grow plants.

Gardening is a spiritual experience. Surrounded by the nature, which you have cultivated with your hands, mind and heart is a deep reward. Successful planting is easy...

The national average for plant mortality of plants purchased at nurseries and planted by gardeners  is 80%.  We find this rate amazing, but understand why it is so high.  After dealing with thousands of customers in the nursery, it is exciting how much sharing basic planting information increases the odds for success.  Our happiest experiences are when new gardeners come back and tell us they followed our direction and three months later everything is growing beautifully.
